The Beginning

Have no fear everyone! Yes, even though you checked the blog at 11:51 pm, and Ruth still hadn’t posted yet, she is doing so now and it is not yet midnight! (Or perhaps it is exactly midnight, I'm not entirely sure.)
Perhaps that is not quite dignified enough for the commencement of a first blog post. I apologize. I will begin again.
Ciao tutti! I officially pronounce this blog begun. (I also apologize if you think this presumptuous of me, but as full administrator on this day of the week I claim the power to do so).
Whew. Now that that’s out of the way, there may be a question floating in our minds: what exactly are we going to say here? Come, lean closer. I will tell you.
Whatever we want! That is right. First rule of the blog: no judgment about posts. Everyone posts exactly what they want. And no, this is not just a way of minimizing the blame I feel building in Adrianna’s mind as she reads this lame post. For me, the whole point of this blog is to be able to talk to you guys, know what’s going on day-to-day, be able to hear your voices as I read your words and know that I’m still a part of your lives even though I don't see you quite as much. Which means everyone should be themselves.
Sorry for getting all sentimental on you right at the start, I just wanted to make sure it was out there. So, don't get too carried away and forget that there is a functional reason for this blog.
tvtb guys
Ruth

(btw dri, I love the blog design, but this font has gotta go)

  2. "I also apologize if you think this presumptuous of me, but as full administrator on this day of the week I claim the power to do so.." Alright Mrs. Monday, you do realize that you wrote this on the very eve of Mister Tuesday's power don't you? Just make sure we keep the keys from falling into mortal's hands.

  3. It was on the eve of monday's power if anything, are you confused as to what day it is??

  4. As dri said, I am Lord Sunday not Mrs. Monday. So, if anyone got married it was adri.

  8. Wait, let me clarify: I like the font on the side, etc, just not for the posts. And adri: I love you, but I'm slightly offended that you didn't inform me of your recent change in status.

  9. Obviously I'm confused. Corrected Post: "I also apologize if you think this presumptuous of me, but as full administrator on this day of the week I claim the power to do so.." Alright Lord Sunday, you do realize that you wrote this on the very eve of Ms. Monday's power don't you? Just make sure we keep the keys from falling into mortals' hands. Everybody happy now? :)

  14. ridiculous richard, what shushed me up was history 211... also was that series any good?

  15. No, it wasn't up to Garth Nix quality. But it still seems quite appropriate considering the method of rotating what Ruth calls 'full administrator' for this 'day of the week.

  16. Hey, this is just a suggestion but, make sure you write the name of the person posting so things don't get too confusing. Or maybe even in the title?

For example- Super Sundays with Ruth: Topic of the awesome blog post!

    or

    Merry Monday with Adri!: stuff!

    you know?

  17. I like the idea of going with the series. I can be Lord Sunday, Adri Mister Monday, etc. Joseph, that would make you Lady Friday

  19. But Ruth said there are no rules! ... I guess a suggestion is 'more what you'd call guidelines than actual rules'. ARG

  20. Technically, Ruth would turn into Lady Sunday, and the Lord title would revert to me. But if it's that important to Ruth, she can keep Lord Sunday, and I'll just be Señor Viernes.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Woa: "technically"? who made that rule?! I'm Lord Sunday! There will be no "reverting"!
As a side note, I was kind of kidding about going with the series, but if you all would like to...
(or rather if andrew would like to just be sir thursday and everyone else can do w/e they want :p)

  22. Joseph: If you feel slighted about not being the only Lord, or being called 'Lady', then you could always grant yourself the title 'Dear Leader' Friday, or Supreme Lord Friday, or even Friday Dictator for Life...

  23. I forgot to sign the last post with MY title: Drowned Wednesday AKA Sir* John T. Glass Sr., 유진, (Dad)

*Dubbed a Knight of the Golden Horseshoe 1979 by the Governor of WV John D. Rockefeller

  24. I think I would not like to go w/ the series... however, I would propose that people could possibly make a small banner w/ their name on it? that'd be cool, and it'd give people an opportunity to show their creative side :D yay!
